Blood Donation Camp — Bhubaneswar Hospital Collaboration
Blood DonationGCM's NSS Cell organised a blood donation camp in collaboration with a leading Bhubaneswar hospital. Over 60 units of blood were collected from students, faculty, and staff. The event also featured awareness sessions on dengue prevention, thalassemia, and the importance of regular blood donation.
World Environment Day — Mass Tree Plantation Drive
EnvironmentOn World Environment Day, GCM students and faculty planted 200+ saplings on the campus premises and in the surrounding areas. The event was led by the NSS Cell with the theme "Our Land, Our Future" — focusing on land restoration and biodiversity.
Village Outreach Camp — Kalarahanga & Nearby Villages
Village OutreachGCM NSS volunteers conducted a two-day outreach camp in villages near Kalarahanga. The activities included health check-ups, financial literacy sessions, digital payment awareness, and distribution of hygiene kits to underprivileged families.
Gandhi Jayanti — Swachh Bharat Cleanliness Drive
Swachh BharatOn Gandhi Jayanti, GCM students and faculty participated in the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan by cleaning the campus, surrounding streets, and the KIIT Square area. The drive also included plastic collection and a pledge-taking ceremony for a cleaner, greener Bhubaneswar.
Nasha Mukht Bharat — Anti-Drug Awareness Rally
Drug-Free CampusGCM organised an anti-drug awareness rally in the KIIT Square area on the occasion of International Day Against Drug Abuse. Students carried placards, distributed awareness materials, and took the Nasha Mukht Bharat pledge — committing to a drug-free lifestyle.
Free Health Check-Up Camp — GCM Campus
Health CampA free health check-up camp was organised at GCM campus in collaboration with a Bhubaneswar-based healthcare organisation. Over 100 students and community members availed free check-ups including blood pressure, blood sugar, BMI, and general physician consultation.
