Frequently Asked Questions
What is the minimum eligibility for MBA at GCM?
Graduation in any discipline with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks from a recognised university. SC/ST/OBC candidates need a minimum of 45%. Final year students may also apply provisionally.
Is OJEE mandatory for admission?
OJEE is the primary entrance exam for BPUT-affiliated institutions. However, CAT, MAT, CMAT, XAT scores are also accepted. Merit-based direct admission is also available through GCM's own selection process (GD + PI).
When does the MBA 2026–27 batch begin?
Classes for the MBA batch 2026–27 are expected to commence in July 2026. Admissions are currently open. Contact our admission cell at 6370551755 for the exact schedule.
How many seats are available?
GCM has a sanctioned intake of 300 seats per academic year for the MBA program, as approved by AICTE. Admission is subject to merit and OJEE counselling.
Is there a hostel / accommodation facility?
GCM is located at Patia, KIIT Square, Bhubaneswar — one of Odisha's most connected educational hubs. While on-campus hostel facilities are currently limited, there are numerous private PG accommodations and hostels available near the campus. Contact the admission cell for guidance.
Are scholarships available?
Yes. Scholarships are available for SC/ST/OBC/Minority students through government schemes. Merit-based institutional scholarships may also be available. Contact the Scholarship Cell (Ranjit Sasmal) at GCM for details.
What are the specializations available?
GCM offers 6 MBA specializations: Marketing Management, Finance Management, Human Resource Management, System Management, Rural Management. Specializations are chosen at the beginning of the 3rd semester.
What is the placement record?
